 For different reasons, an engine may start to over heat and as a result, an aluminium cylinder head will easily warp; a cast iron cylinder head takes much longer to warp. The warped head no longer retains a tight seal between it and the engine block and the cylinder head gasket will go bad, causing more over heating.

If this situation is allowed to continue, then things will just go from bad to worse, even to the point where even the valves and the valve seats may warp. You can save yourself a lot of problems and extra expense if you address any problem when it first appears. A simple cylinder head rectification, and a new cylinder head gasket is often an easy solution.

We have just the machine to carry out a cylinder head rectification! An engine block rectification is also possible.
